![]() We were so fortunate to have been able to have Heidi in our lives. We adopted her at the age of 8, after her Mom's passed away, but it seems as she was with us from the beginning. She was a terrific, beautiful, loyal dog. Her favorite activity was gardening, and she supervised numerous projects that we will always have to remember her by. She loved to lead the wheelbarrow and would run to get in front of it as if she knew where to put it.
She also adored many hikes and loved to stay in cabins and sit on the deck during the evening. You could feel her peaceful spirit as she looked over the mountains. She was the type of dog that people talk about for the rest of their lives, because you can't help but recognize that you were simply lucky to have known her.
Heaven is a better place today.
Missed greatly by her family,
Semiramis and Brenda and brother Zack
![]() RIP 6/1/10 - 7/15/20 ![]() RIP 3/22/01 - 10/24/11 ![]() January 2018... My Love Bug, Izerman, was introduced to me my his fabulous foster Mom, Risa, in January of 2011. I thought it would be a good idea to get another dog to help keep my other most beautiful girl, Chey, my heart and best friend, feeling young.
They only spent a little over 4 months together before Chey crossed the rainbow bridge and I was heart broken like I am now. I did make sure we got in one last trip to the beach as Chey loved it there and Ize loved it too when we went. Anyone reading this knows my pain and hurt as you are all dog lovers, but he was my heart, my protector, my confidant, the one I would always lean on and without him, a great part of me is empty. There is no greater gift in life than having a dog love you. I miss my Love Bug with my heart and soul. Jules
![]() ![]() 4/24/2013 – 4/29/2022 We lost our buddy, Jake, this past week due to mast cell cancer. It was his second battle with this cancer, and this time it was very aggressive, and not treatable. He came to us in January 2015 as a very scared 18 month old pup. Timid, he knew nothing about the world other than his own pen on a rural farm. He quickly learned to enjoy pack walks with our other GSDs, runs in the yard, and chilling next to us. While he was always initially unsure of new fosters he quickly learned to treat them as friends, and taught them all to howl at sirens. He was a gentle, shy boy, who loved his family and had a big bark to warn all UPS trucks to stay away. He will always be loved and missed by all of us. Randy, Veronica, Willow, Lexi and Greybe kitty.
