14 April 2016 Kiya is a gorgeous, spunky, energetic 2 1/2 years old. She came to the rescue after being left and abandoned at a training and boarding facility in Chesapeake. Fortunately the owner of the training facility was very familiar with VGSR and got her into our loving and caring hands.
She is adjusting nicely to her new foster home. She has a nice small fenced in yard she catches some rays in, has free roam of the house, is crate trained and house broken. She loves to surf the counter and got lucky finding some Colby cheese that was left u attended. So cheese, puperoni, and organic orange slices seem to be on the favorite foods lost so far.
Kiya has a busy schedule getting to the dog park for walks and play time, the beach, and other errands along the way. So she really enjoys rides in the car.
She loves to call my bed her own and loves my spot on the couch. She does ok around other dogs but can play a little to aggressive. With training she will be just fine. She knows her basic commands and I plan to put in some work with her attending obedience classes.
She is a wonderful, loving, sweet dog! A great addition to any family.
