Looking at this beauty now, you'd never guess that CeeCee came to the rescue in bad shape. She was not treated well, if treated at all, until VGSR took her in. She started as a terrified, people shy young girl with muscle atrophy in her back legs. She didn't know what stairs were, how to eat out of a bowl, and was too shy to even take treats from someone's hand. She has since blossomed into one of the sweetest dogs I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Weeks of positive reinforcement and the help of my two shepherds taught her how to be a better dog. CeeCee is still quite young and therefore will continue to need training reinforcement as she grows up and out of the "teenager" stage. She can get gently mouthy when playing gets intense, and she is working hard on learning that it's not a nice thing to do. She also loves socks and other soft clothing items. So much, in fact, that she leaves me nice little holes in them when I get them out of the laudry! CeeCee does have an occasional accident if she hasn't been taken out in a while, but this is becoming more and more of a rare occurance. Her favorite things are sleeping, playing with other dogs, and giving kisses. She is a wonderful dog who deserves all the love in the world to make up for how little she got during the first year of her life. CeeCee would be perfectly happy in any home that shows her affection, but would fit in best with someone who is willing to be patient and understanding with her as she continues learning how to be a dog.
