This is Teddy's second time with VGSR.  Teddy was first rescued by VGSR in 2014 after his owner passed away.  Teddy was adopted and he led an amazing life with his adoptive owner for ~9 years.  He was his owner's shadow and enjoyed spending time on the farm with his owner surrounded by horses and other animals.  Sadly, Teddy once again lost his owner due to very unfortunate health circumstances that took his owner from him.  Teddy, understandably, took awhile to adjust in his new foster home as he missed his owner and previous life terribly, but he has now decompressed and is ready to find his next furever home.  Teddy is now a senior, around 10 years old.  His body sometimes shows his age but his heart and mind is much younger.  Teddy is active for his age and often has more energy than his foster brother and sisters who are half his age.  He has tried to get them to play with him but unfortunately for Teddy, they haven't been interested.  Teddy loves walks, treats, pets, and just being near his people. He walks well on leash, knows sit and down, is housebroken, and trustworthy in the house.  Teddy isn't fond of situations which are erratic (thus no really young kids), but if you can provide Teddy a loving home with opportunities for walks and some patience for him to adjust yet again to a new home, he will quickly become your new best friend.  Interested applicants can email Teddy's foster mom at emily@hartman1.com.
