9/08/14 Major came from a high kill shelter where he was left by his owner as a "stray". Major has had a hard time in life to this point. He was hit by a car over a year ago and never taken to a vet. His rear legs have healed on their own, leaving him unable to move them normally and giving him a "hopping" gait when he runs. He has learned how to deal with his disability and has a wonderful personality. On top of the sad situation of his rear legs, Major also has heartworms, lyme and ehrlichia and every intestinal parasite there is. His recovery has already begun and updates will follow. His foster may be contacted at xopammi@cox.net Information on the adoption process may be found on this page: http://www.vgsr.org/info/adoption Please consider sponsoring this poor guy's medical needs.
