Polar Bear was surrendered because he does not like babies or small children. He is 3 years old,80 lbs, neutered, house trained, and crate trained. He knows a variety of commands (sit, stay, down, come) but his leash manners need work. He rides nicely in the car. His favorite toy is his red Kong.
Polar Bear will have his shots updated this week. He seems to be OK with dogs of his own size but he tries to bully smaller ones. He respects the resident dogs', Piper's space and puts up with the puppy.
His ideal home would be as an only dog with a family of young active adults, or a family with some teenaged boys who would play with him.
Because of his issues with small kids, Polar Bear will probably not attend adoption days. I am willing to meet potential adopters on neutral turf.
