German Shepherd Dog (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult
7/20/2014 I have almost had Midnight for a month now. She has been on a medical hold till we found out that she was healthy enough to be adopted. When Midnight first came to me we found a mass on her mammary gland. Since her surgery it was found that the mass was benign and this healthy and beautiful girl is ready to find her forever home. Midnight is a well trained and very gentle girl. She is a velcro dog. That attaches quickly. She will look to you for direction most of the time. You can tell that she has some training. She did seem to be very cautious around men at first. But she has taken to my boyfriend really well. She has met other men in her travels and seems to be ok. Midnight is very lovable. She will be that 76 pound lap dog if that is what you want or she will lay at your feet. She is so funny because she is a talker. I don't mean barker. She does bark when someone comes to the house or other dog barks. What I mean by talking is that she will make noises like she is trying to communicate with you. I believe that she is just bored and looking for something to do. Which she has not been able to do with surgery. It really isn't a big deal and I'm sure that once she can gets more exercise and be able to burn off some of the boredom that will stop. I can not explain how awesome this girl is except that she was almost a foster fail. Which means that I almost kept her myself. But in order for me to keep being able to save the lives of other dogs I must keep my home open to bring in other lost souls. Whoever adopts this wonderful girl will being getting an awesome lifetime partner.
