4/6/17 King is s re-homed GSD. His primary caretaker in his last family passed away. The remaining family member traveled a lot and was unable to take care of him. King spent the first 4 years of his life chained outside 24 / 7. He was adopted from VGSR 3 years ago. This boy is great GSD. It took him several days to figure out if I was a good guy or a bad guy. He never took his eyes off me as I fed, petted, walked and played with him and the other 4 GSD's in my house. He finally figured out that I was a good guy, and did he ever warm up. He likes to give you kisses and loves to be petted and raked with my furminator. He is now like Velcro and follows me all over the house. He is very good on a leash and gets himself untangled when he gets tangled up. He is not a puller. He is now starting to play ball as well. King gets along very well with the male and female GSD's in my house. He also has a strong prey drive when he sees a deer at 4:30 AM on our morning walk.
King needs an adopter that will give him time to adjust to his new surroundings. He can not be forced to do something until he has trust in his new owner. Preferably his adopter should have prior GSD experience. King is a "Great White" GSD.
