7/1/14 update  Zeus is a long haired black and tan neutered male GSD. He may seem a little shy at first but with a kind word and a pat on the head he warms up quickly. He is great in the house and is very content to just be where his people are.  He is happy to lay on the floor next to you, sleep on the dog bed in the other room as you cook dinner, and he is enjoying hanging out with his foster siblings that consist of a male Dutchie, several female Chihuahuas and GSD.   Zeus is an all around luv bug and is a gentle giant that enjoyed meeting company that were eager to meet him including an older child that gave him tons of hugs, kisses and tons of treats however when there is an unwelcome visitor Zeus does believe that he should warn an individual that there is a dog in the house and will need a strong leader and discipline him when necessary.  Zeus enjoys playing fetch with the balls in the yard, and chewing on a squeaky toy. Zeus walks well on leash with a strong leader and showed no interest in the cats we exposed him to. He seems to bond quickly and is eager to please.
