This beautiful and lovable young man came to us with the name King, we did not feel that the name suited him so we renamed him Mr. Bojangles and we call him Bo. Bo is our first foster and we are both enjoying it and learning as we go. Bo plays well with our other dogs and he is very curious about our cat. Bo loves to be with people, he has been right by my side since he came to us. I know very little about his background other than he came from a shelter in Mercer, WV. Bo is house trained and is only kept in his kennel when we are not at home and at bedtime. He loves riding in the car and thinks he should go where ever and when ever you go.

He is full of energy and loves to run and wrestle with our Boxer mix Kaitelynn. Bo has the softest fur; it is thick and jet-black. He thinks he is a lap dog and has to be reminded sometimes he is too big to sit in your lap. He loves and craves attention. He has done extremely well adjusting I believe. He has made himself at home here and we love having him in our home. When Bo finds his forever home his new family will be fortunate to have him.

So far Bo does not bark in the house, if he is in the yard he will bark at people walking down the road or something to that nature. He knows a few commands such as sit and wait, we are working on "no" and "easy". His appetite has been good and he has no problem sharing his food. His new owners will have no problem teaching him new commands, he is eager to learn and will follow your commands/directions, he just wants to be loved. I believe he may have some abandonment issues but we are working on those. He does not attempt to get on the furniture even though my animals are allowed to. He needs stability and love, when given that he will return it a hundred times over.
