Little Zoe came to us only recently with a shattered growth plate in her front left leg. She broke it by jumping off the sofa in her previous home when she was just a wee baby. Her owners realized that there was no way that they could manage her surgery and look after a toddler, or keep an active puppy calm in a townhouse with many steps. Reluctantly, her family surrendered her to VGSR. Zoe is now in foster care where she is learning to play nicely with other dogs and share her toys. VGSR will have her leg repaired and care for her during the post-op recovery, until she is ready for a new fur-ever home.
