Lady is a young adult female who is adjusting to life in foster care. She is an owner surrender, given up when the new baby came. Not that Lady is a difficult dog to have around - she is a sweet, quiet girl, but has clearly led a sheltered life. But her old family was feeling overwhelmed, so we came to Lady's rescue. Lady at different points in her life has lived with other large dogs, a chihuahua, a large bird, and even kids. The only thing we're unsure about is cats. Lady has only been in fostercare a few days, but she's gradually coming around. She is shy and stoic, and takes awhile to make friends with someone. But trust me, she will be a wonderful companion to some lucky family out there. One other thing: Lady can scale a 6 foot fence. She cannot be left outside unattended - so those who plan on leaving a dog outside or have a doggie-door need not apply for Lady. She is a housedog and enjoys being around her people.
