Poor Ahren is now looking for his third and hopefully final home. One year ago his owner who purchased him as a puppy became ill and could no longer keep him. He was quickly adopted and had been with his new owner for a year, and is now having to come back to VGSR. His new owner picked up extremely long work hours, and is hardly able to devote time to him. He used to spend his days with her at work and is now left alone for over 12 hours a day. His owner was renting a basement and Ahren recently attacked the landlords Chihuahua and is forcing the owner to get rid of Ahren. He has lived with a cat for a year now and does fine with the cat, but does not like small dogs. Ahren will do best in a home with a firm leader and kids over 8. He is a sweet boy who sadly has been shuffled around since the loss of his original family. He is quick to love, but may need patience with the new transition. He is a big boy, which is why older kids are preferred. With proper introduction he is fine with most dogs. To help build a strong relationship and bond, he would thrive in a family who spends a lot of time doing activities with him.
