German Shepherd Dog : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : Medium
Thank you for stopping by to read my bio. I was an unknown girl now named Kasha (pronounced CarSha). I started answering to it immediately. I was found as a stray and put into a place called animal control. No one wanted me you see because I was heart worm positive. So the kind people at animal control called this rescue site and they took me in. My foster mom took me to the vets and I was mad at her. She left me there for two days while I got two back to back painful shots for heart worms. I had to stay quiet for weeks to let the medicine work. My foster mom calls me an ole soul. I am a very laid back girl who just wants to be every where my foster mom is. I have ran my head into her many times because she just stops and I do not know it, sorry mom. I do have separation anxiety and took me a few weeks to get used to my foster mom coming and going. She takes me every where and I do not run away, I always keep her in my sights. Even while mowing the yard, I am right behind her. I am not a high energy girl but I do love my walks. I am short and stout. I have the "German" German Shepherd look and not the "American" German Shepherd look. My perfect home will be with an older couple who stays home so I can get used to them. I am not an active or aggressive girl, but I will warn you when others get too close. As long as I can see you I will never leave you. I will even chase the cat away from you just so I can have you all to myself. I do enjoy playing with my foster brother, he has taught me how to play. I was aloof when I first met him, now we are play mates. I don’t mind other dogs, as long as they are submissive. My foster brother and I eat side by side with no issues. I love my chew toys, but I call them my tear up toys. They don’t last long with me. My foster mom just shakes her head and then buys me some more. I will be available after 8/22, I have two more appointments and get this crazy thing called a tracker inside of me. More about KashaGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids
