Hello, Im Roxy. I am an owner surrender dropped off at a shelter and no one knows why. I spent a couple weeks in the shelter and was so overwhelmed when I arrived at my foster home that after a couple hours meeting the pack and being fed, I slept for nearly 16 hours. My foster mom thought I was partially deaf as I only reacted to sharp noises. It seems I was just trying to process what was happening to me. After a few days being allowed to go at my own pace and lay in my crate when it was too much, I am beginning to open up. Im hanging out with 3 boys and 1 girl, all GSDs/mixes. They are close to my age and size, so my foster mom does not know how I feel about younger and smaller dogs. I have not met kids yet, but I am pretty mellow and my foster mom is always pulling my tail and tugging my ears and playing with my feet, so kids cant be much worse. I love riding in cars and enjoy hanging my head out the window. Once I trust you, I will follow you around and lay at your feet, unless youd like to invite me up on the couch. Then, I curl up with my head in your lap. I have mild arthritis, but still have a good range of motion in my hind legs and enjoy nice walks and moseying through woods. If youre looking for a sweet, confident and mellow girl
