Ahren came to VGSR when his owner fell ill and had to move to a home that Ahren couldnt be taken to. Ahren is a very sweet boy, but he seems slightly affected by his separation from his owner (he just seems sad sometimes). He does well around new dogs and people, but is best with small introductions. At this time, while Ahren is transitioning over to his new life I think it is best that any potential adopters be of a smaller, less rowdy home. I think Ahren would do best in a home with only one dog and children over 13 who can understand and respect a dog in Ahrens position. As with all of my fosters, I already love this boy in such a short time. He seems to be very loyal and devoted to his caretakers, and I dont see bonding with someone new being a problem. I dont want to put Ahren in a situation that may overwhelm or frighten himone on one care seems like it would suit him best. That aside, Ahren loves to play and has quite a bit of energy. He is also content just lying down next to his owner.
