Peanut was a stray from North Carolina so nothing is known about her background. She was one sick, frightened girl when she came into the rescue 8 weeks ago. She has completed her heartworm treatment and we are just waiting on a negative test result before she can be spayed. Now that her shell has started to crack the real Peanut has begun to emerge. She is feeling better and her theme song should be Girls Just Want To Have Fun. She plays like a puppy with both her GSD foster brothers switching between them when they tire, even playing with the resident kitten. Peanut will require a forever family who will be patient and help her continue to learn to be a dog.
