Barkley is a sweet, two-year-old dog with a gentle and quiet demeanor. Though he can be timid when meeting new people, he quickly warms up with a little patience and kindness. Barkley does well with other dogs, but his interactions with cats are unknown. He was found roaming the countryside with another German shepherd for nearly three months before being brought to the shelter. Upon his arrival, it was discovered that Barkley had been shot near his spine, but thankfully, his wound has since healed, and he's now doing well. Barkley is updated on all his vaccines, housebroken, and ready to find a loving home where he can feel safe and cared for.
