1/17/24 Honeybear is the perfect name for this wonderful 1-year-old sweetheart!

Honeybear is an affectionate, cuddly young lady with warm brown eyes.  She gets along fine with her foster sister and cousins, both male and female, although she invades their space sometimes and needs to be corrected.  She would probably be happiest in a home with at least one other friendly dog.  She walks well on a leash but she is a little skittish around traffic and sudden noises.  She is food-motivated with no known allergies.  She is mostly quiet inside but she will bark if she hears activity outside her condo.  She does fine in cars and airplanes too – so far in her short life, she has already been on two airplane rides!

Honeybear was picked up as a stray in South Carolina.  She is spayed and up-to-date on shots.  She plans to attend adoption events in Northern Virginia.  Approved adopters may contact his foster parent at tnhuck@yahoo.com.
