12/05/2023--Hi, my name is Penelope!  I recently arrived to be with my foster mom.  My foster mom affectionately calls me Penny.  I am timid and slow to warm up to people, but I am very loving and friendly once I feel comfortable with you.  My foster mom is very patient and loving, helping me to feel more confident each day.  I was found as a stray, and I was taken to the shelter to be safe from the dangers of roaming the unknown outdoors.  VGSR took me in to help me reach the ultimate dream of being adopted into my forever, loving home.  I am enjoying good regular meals every day and sleeping in the comfort of warm, soft blankets in my crate.  My past is behind me now, and I am looking forward to my bright new future ahead!  If you are an approved adopter and feel that I may be a compatible companion to share your life with, please contact my foster at:  kay.roll@aol.com 

01/05/2024--Hi there!  I have been in the loving care of my dear foster mom for a month now, and she wants to share an update about me.  I am a very sweet girl, but I have displayed high anxiety which is a life-long management condition.  I am being safely treated for heartworm at this time.  I need a lot of patience, time and love in order to help me live a happy life.  Living in a home with a lack of people coming and going is needed.  Very few distractions will help me feel relaxed.  I am taking medications at this time and probably may need to for the rest of my life.  If you feel you are a compatible pet parent for my needs and would love to share your life in loving me, please apply to adopt me or you may reach out to my foster mom if you are an approved adopter with VGSR to learn more about me at:  kay.roll@aol.com
