This handsome and amazing fella is Trooper. Trooper is a happy boy who loves playing fetch, “find it”, and going on hikes. He is smart and curious and does great meeting new people. He loves attention, belly rubs, and head scratches. He also loves his crate and will go in and out of it freely when we are home. He sleeps in his crate at night and during the day when no one is home. Trooper is housebroken, crate trained and only barks when there is an appropriate reason to. Like many typical GSDs, Trooper is highly intelligent and athletic, and he has a strong work ethic and drive. Because of his drive and energy, there are certain triggers that can cause Trooper’s excitement to spike… namely cats and moving cars. Through training and positive reinforcement, Trooper is making great strides at remaining calm and controlled around moving vehicles, but it’s best if there aren’t any resident kitties in Trooper’s furever home. Trooper is looking for a home with breed experience that will be committed to helping him burn his energy in a productive way and continue his training. Trooper is a male neutered GSD. He is up to date on his vaccines, and is on monthly heartworm, flea, and tick medication.
