6/10/22: Max 6202 is the best boy! He is absolutely stunning with his regal black coat and warm eyes that that have a softness to them. Max was a surrender due to his owner no longer being able to care for him. Max has lived outside in a kennel his entire life and was used for breeding. Despite being 3 years old, he is experiencing a lot of "firsts". He is resilient, affectionate, gentle, and is adjusting to being inside very well. He has potty training down almost perfectly, he has conquered the stairs (up and down), he is use to the hardwood floors, and he is no longer spooked by the tv. He is a great eater. Max is friendly but shy when meeting new people. He has bonded to his foster dad and is his shadow. He isn't a fan of his crate but will settle pretty quickly but he does enjoy trying to unlatch the lock and will squeeze out given the opportunity. He has been respectful of baby gates. Max is not vocal. He rides really well in the car and seems to enjoy rides. He is getting use to things like walking through Lowes. He has done well with all his dog interactions. Max loves carrying a tennis ball around and will drop it in your lap and wait for you to toss it. He is a super sweet boy who needs someone to give some love and be patient as he figures out how to be a dog. Max has been neutered, vetted and is negative for heart worms and tick borne illnesses.
