This sweet gentle soul is Bear!  The name fits him because of his unique coloring; he reminds me of a panda bear.  Bear's former owner was trying to sell him when he was staying at a motel, and a few days later Bear was found running loose in the county.  He was taken to the shelter. which was full.  The shelter reached out to us and we busted him out!  

Bear is 5 years old, recently neutered, and up to date on his shots.  He is crate trained, house trained, and gets along well with other dogs. He is great in the car, good with kids and has not been tested around cats.  He needs more leash training; he is a puller!  With patience and proper training he will overcome it. 

Bear's demeanor is calm,very loving, and mild mannered.  He is low energy, and doesn't have much interest in toys, but that could change once he gets used to his forever home. Bear needs a yard, and a loving family that will include him in family activities. He just wants to be with his people! Please remember to be patient with him as he learns your ways;  he will need 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to get used to your routine, and 3 months to feel like he is finally home.  Lots of love, patience, and reassurance will make him feel welcome.  This unique, sweet spirit will make a great new member of the right family.  Reach out to emilyschroeder2006@gmail.com if you want to meet this special boy.
