Roxy is a beautiful, smart and energetic young girl. She loves "her" people, however she is shy and unsure of herself around strangers usually barking and baking up to ask them to stay away. 

She is housebroken and crate trained. Roxy loves her toys, hard chew toys as well as plush ones, and carries them everywhere.  She also loves to run and to play fetch.

She knows most basic commands but will need continued reinforcing until they become automatic for her.  We have been working with her on keeping her mouth (play biting) and her feet to herself. She gets excited and forgets herself; to people who aren’t used to it it could feel like aggression but there’s not an aggressive bone in her body.

She needs a place where she can run off her energy. Someone who could jog with her or teach her to run alongside a bicycle would be great.  Search and Rescue or agility training are great options for her too,

Roxy is not for the novice dog owner.  She needs someone with German Shepherd experience to help her build her confidence and control her impulsive behavior. She
