Max 4648 is a dream dog! He has the sweetest, most affectionate personality. He loves getting rubbed on and there is not a shortage of kisses to go around. He is fairly laid back for being under 2 years old. He has a playful side but is not overly rambunctious. Max is wonderful with other dogs. He would love another pup that wants to play but also knows how to take cues from other canines if they would prefer to be left alone. Max does not seem to have had any obedience training, he does not know sit or any other commands but with that said, he does amazingly well in the house. He has not been a counter surfer, he does like to curl up on the couch and does pretty good on a leash. Max seems to be house trained and we are working on the crate training. He settles down at night after a few minutes but does not like the crate during the daytime. He has not been destructive outside of the crate. Max has not been exposed to kids or cats but based on his personality we feel he would likely do fine with both. Max is feeling a little under the weather and has an upper respiratory infection which he started on antibiotics today. He was also positive for ehrlichia and hook worms. He began a dewormer today and started on 30 days of doxycycline. He does not appear to be symptomatic for the ehrlichia.
