Hi!  I'm Caly!

I'm an 18 month old GSD who enjoys a quieter life.  I love my humans and my four-legged siblings, and I especially LOVE toys!  And I found out that I can carry a toy past my four-legged brother to get him to play with me.  Unlike some 18 month old Shepherds, I do enjoy quiet time too!  Once I've gotten play time in, I like to snuggle on the couch or with my humans.  Sometimes, I'll even snuggle with my four-legged sister.

One thing about me is that I'm affectionate, but I won't let you know that when we first meet - I tend to bark at new people.  That's because I'm a little shy, so you will have to earn my trust.  But once I learn that I can trust you, I'll be giving kisses and cuddling on the furniture if you'll let me.  My foster mom and dad are taking me to daycare a few days a week, so I'm learning that meeting new people can be fun.

Caly's mom here - Caly is a very sweet GSD who is a little shy at first, but warms up to adults and other dogs well with a little time and patience.  She is obedient and knows the basics, is housebroken, and is crate trained.  Caly is also good in the car.  She still pulls on the leash on walks, but she is learning to be more gentle.  She will need someone with GSD experience to help build her confidence, continue her socialization, and prevent her from assuming a leadership role in the house.

Caly would love to be in home with one or two other dogs that can show her the ropes and play with her - she is good with both males and females.  Her one interaction with a cat would indicate that she probably would not do well with cats in the home.  Caly will also not do well in a home with small children; she would possibly do well in a home with older, considerate children.
