Lucas is a beautiful 4-6 year old red and black with a sweet and gentle disposition.  He was pulled from the SPCA as a stray and had been there for 30 days and was extremely stressed, underweight (skin and bones) and bad skin allergies left untreated but he is healing up lovely.  He has only been with me for a few days so we are still learning about him.  So far he gets along super with all of the resident dogs and visiting dogs.  He so far has been very laid back, needing rest and recovery from the stress of the shelter.  He is crate and house trained and learning not to pull on lead.  He knows basic commands.  I suggest no children for this pup becomes way too excited around my 9 y/o son though we are working on that.  I think he would do well in a quieter home.  He has not been cat tested but on lead is learning "leave it" and leash manners.  He carries a stuffed animal around with him and enjoys chewing raw hides.  He has been great at the vets and enjoys attention and being rubbed all over and was perfect for his bath.  He would be a wonderful walking partner and sidekick for someone looking for a very handsome GSD.  Approved applicants only.
