12/28/17   Zeppo was an owner surrender by his second owners who had adopted  him from a Roanoke Shelter. He scaled s 6' fence while at their home and was returned to  the shelter after 6 weeks with the family.
I don't know anything about the first family where he spent the first 8 years of his life. However: by his demeanor and his behavior, he was very well taken care of. His teeth are in beautiful condition and he is a very good guy in the house. Zeppo is house trained, crate trained and leash trained.
This guy acts more like a four year old than an eight year old boy. He loves to give kisses, takes treats very gently snd wants to be a lap puppy.
He gets along very well with my 2 GSD's and my other 4 male and female GSD fosters.
Zeppo is not an escape artist so I have no idea why he would scale a fence to get out unless he was very unhappy in the situation he was in.
This guy is very easy going and knows most of the basic commands. He will make some family very happy as he is s very sweet boy.
