German Shepherd Dog (medium coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult
Bella is estimated to be two years old. She quickly picks up new things and listens well. She is solidifying sit, down, shake, off, touch, wait, leave it and is eager to learn more. Although, she still has the urge to jump up to greet people. She loves playing with a ball and chasing it. Bella is fine being left uncrated alone at home. She is walked twice a day; at least four miles a day. She also gets daily play and training time. She makes for a good running companion and loves her weekend hiking adventures. Bella is good with cats. She hasn't lived with dogs. She can be reactive to some dogs, but is quickly learning to ignore them. She'll look at but doesn't chase animals during walks. Bella has been adapting to city living. She doesn't bark at ordinary noises anymore. She greets visitors nicely when properly introduced and readily accepts them. She will alert bark, but is easily called off. Bella has a tendency to fixate on fast moving objects in close proximity. This can cause her to fixate or drift towards bicycles, cars, etc. She also has shown some obsessiveness towards shining lights/shadows. With proper handling, she can be easily redirected from these behaviors. Bella must go to an active home with ample GSD experience. She needs a home in an low activity area with some yard space.
