Preston is a BIG 1 year old GSD mix that came to VGSR as owner surrender. He is a shy boy who has a wonderful temperament and is VERY smart and STRONG. He needs slow introduction and is a bit nervous at the beginning. 
Currently Preston is living with a 5yo confident foster GSD sister (who's helping him learning to be a good dog and build a confidence in him) and 2 human siblings, ages 9 and 11. He loves them all!! Preston is said to be good with cats (he lived with cats in his previous home).

Preston knows some basic commands and is learning how to walk nicely on leash. He's pulling when he's nervous and walks zigzag (we are working on this and he is getting better everyday). 
As a healthy young male, Preston is VERY playful. He is learning how to play nicely with other dogs, enjoying long walks/hiking, and now mastered on dog wrestling. He could spend hours playing with his foster GSD sister, and loves to tease her. Sometimes he forgets that live is not all about PLAYING. He takes corrections from his foster GSD sister very well and now knows the difference between 'time to play' and 'time to take a break'. Preston also can be trusted and doesn't require a crate. 

We see Preston would go best to a very active family with another confident well behaved dog.
