Update Beast is doing well.  I did find out from a vet visit that he has a very mild case  hip dysplasia in his right hip.  You can't even tell he has it.  The vet found it on xrays.  The only thing that we are going to do is add  cosequin to his daily diet.  Which is good for joint health in any dog.

Beast is very much a people dog.  He wants to be around his people.  Right now he is my velcro dog.  

This dog LOVES car rides.  I think that he would ride in a car all day long if you would let him.  I'm teaching him that every time that we go outside we are not going for a car ride.  He trys to go right to the car.

People have asked about cats.  Beast has not been around cats, so I can not say how he will be.

I do think that Beast needs to be around older children.  He just gets excited when the younger kids are playing and screaming and running around.  He wants to do all of that too.  He doesn't realize that he is a big dog.  

Beast needs to continue on with his basic training.  He is doing great with me on his recall and commands, but he needs more than I can give him.  It will also be a great bonding experience for him and the new family.

Beast is overall a great boy!  Loving, caring and listens.  He will make an awesome dog for that right family.


6/29/16  Beast is a 5 year old male that truly is a kind soul.  We are currently in basic training and doing great.  He is very smart and picking up things very quickly.  He has dogie playtime and has gotten along with all of the other dogs, both large and small.  He will let you sit and brush him for kisses and  a few treats.

Beast is going to be a low to moderate energy dog.  He will need his exercise, but he will not make a good running partner.  He is crate and house trained.  He will need a 6 foot fence as he can climb over anything shorter.

I will update his bio as I get to know him more.  Right now I can say he is going to make someone a great companion.
