1/26/16 Update - Rimy is now up to date on all of her shots, and all of her tests came back negative; she is a healthy girl. Her spay surgery is scheduled for 2/2/16. Once she is healed from the surgery she will be available for adoption. Over the last week she has started to come out of her shell. She is much less nervous about things and random noises around the house, and things in the neighborhood. She has a very silly personality. She likes attention and will come by for pets when she wants them. She likes to play with toys but if you don't want to play with her, she will toss her tennis ball around by herself. She has absolutely loved the snow we have had. She is fairly low energy and her exercise needs are moderate. While I think she would enjoy a fenced yard to run freely in, she will be fine with leash walking for exercise. She does have a very high prey drive, she would chase squirrels all day if she good. Due to this, a home with cats would not be a good fit. We have not had her around children yet but I imagine she would be fine as long as the children respected her space until she settles in. She is house and crate trained. We leave the crate open all day for her to go in and out of as she pleases, so that she knows it is her safe place. She loves to sit on the couch in front of the window and watch what's going on outside, so if you have a couch in front a window, I would expect her to be on it. She has been on several walks with other dogs, seen several at the vet and has been fine but no meets yet. Rimy is a small girl at just 48 pounds and will not get any bigger, she is about 3 and done growing. Rimy seems to know a few basic commands, sit, come, and sometimes lie down. She walks well on the leash, sometimes she likes to walk out in front but isn't a puller. Please continue to check back for more updates on this lovely girl!  

1/18/16  - Rimy just arrived in her foster home on Sunday. We are still getting to know her, but as of now she is a very sweet, shy girl. She is nervous about the big world outside of her home but with time and patience I think she will become more confident. Rimy still needs to have her spay surgery. She will be available adoption after she heals from the surgery. Check back for updates over the next few weeks!
