Update: I have attended a few adoption events and met small dogs, big dogs and kids of all ages.  I am a fan of them all.

I enjoy a good ear rub. You'll know you hit the spot when I groan and lean into you.  I love car rides and will jump in anytime you leave the door or hatch open.  I like to play with my house mate, Tig, and explore the yard.  I'm a very good supervisor and will lay near you while you work.

I am great in the house. I am crate-trained, but have free roam, and am house-broke.  I enjoy walks, have solid leash skills and good recall.

I may be a senior gal, but I have a good energy and lots of love to give.

I've just had my staples removed.  My doctor says I made a great recovery, can begin an increase in exercise and am ready for my furever home.  Please, come out and meet me.

Hi, I'm Hannah!  

I recently joined VGSR after having been with a family for 8 years.  I am not one to look to the past and am ready to start my next adventure.

Unfortunately, I have had a slight set back. On Monday evening I bloated and then my intestines began to flip.  I had to have emergency surgery and my spleen was removed.  Fortunately, my stomach was not impacted and all went well.

The vet said that they have never seen an older dog recover so quickly and that I bounced back faster then most dogs half my age!

I came home last night and am back to getting to know my foster sister, Pepper and the resident dog, Tig between naps as I recover.

I am rather spry for my age and have a sweet, calm demeanor and a decent activity level. 

Don't let my surgery stop you from coming to meet me in a week.
