Jack was dropped off at a local shelter because his owner could not afford to have his heart condition properly diagnosed and repaired.

Jack has been diagnosed with a heart condition called Patent Ductus Arteriosus, this condition will require open heart surgery and he is scheduled for surgery during June 2014.
