3/25/2014 Kara is new to the rescue, and we are still getting to know her. She was dumped at the shelter with a litter of puppies and was a good mother to them until they could make it on their own. She is a very sweet dog and eager to please, but is jumpy around loud noises and fast-moving objects. She does not like to be crated unless our male GSDs are also crated next to her. She loves to ride in a car and wants to meet everybody she sees. She walks well on the leash, but does not seem to have much experience with it. We are starting to see her playful side with our two GSDs and believe that she will become much more active and assertive once she has had some time to adjust to her new environment. She has not had the opportunity to interact with children or cats yet. More updates to come as we get to know her better.
