3/25/14 Raja is the sweet lady you are looking for. Raja is a 7 year old black and silver German Shepherd who was an owner surrender because of an upcoming move out of the country. She previously lived with 4 children and a cat.

Once Raja arrived at my home she made herself part of the family. She was okay with my black lab mix once it was understood that Raja was the boss. She would probably do best in a home without other dogs, or placed with a family with GSD experience. Raja is a nice lady that needs some TLC. It seems to me that the family didn’t put much attention into her. She is supposed to know basic commands, but she has only responded to her name being called. She can be very protective of her people and property. She has taken to a spot under my chair and tries to attack other dogs when they come near me.  She has barked at every  person that has come into or walked by the house so far today. She stops with her name being called.

The owner said she gets stressed out when there is big change and she stops eating. She does look a little skinny and I will be working on that. She needs some leash obedience that will also be worked on. She is up to date on all shots but still needs to be spayed.
