German Shepherd Dog (medium coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Adult : : Large
I have only been in my foster Moms home for about a week. All of this inside stuff is new to me. She tried to crate me in the so called Alcatraz cage, it did not work, I tore the bars out of it. She fixed it, so I tore the bars out of the other side. I think she finally realized I was not being crated. I was given the name King due to my foster mom wanting to treat me like a King, as I looked sad in my plea pictures. However out of the blue I like to howl like a wolf and she started calling me Wolfie, but when she is re directing me it is a firm King. I just look at her as I do not understand what she is saying to me. She held her hand out with food and said "come" and I stared at her like um no. I do not know any commands. She states I have a lot of work ahead of me. As you can see from my pictures, it is hard to believe I weigh 77lbs and look this thin. My vet states I should be close to 100-110 lbs so I have lots of weight to gain. I have muscle atrophy due to malnutrition and might have a slight limp when I get better. My doctor states my legs cross right now and hopefully once I gain my muscles and strength back, I will run again with my foster brother and sisters. We are currently going to keep an eye on my hip as right now as I walk really really funny. More about King 3692Good with Dogs, Not Good with Cats
