Heidi is new to VGSR just recently saved from a shelter in WV.  She is a wonderful girl and will make a great companion and an easy dog for a first-time German Shepherd owner.  She is housebroken, obedient, medium-energy, likes riding in the car, and very eager to please.  Her only downfall is that even though she tested OK at the shelter with other dogs and was turned in with another dog, she has not been keen on sharing her space while in foster care.  She is currently in temporary foster care getting over a cold she picked up in the shelter, and will be heading to foster care soon in Washington, DC - this girl gets around!!
