Introducing Billy Idol!  This handsome 9m old rock star  is full of energy and showmanship like his namesake.  He was turned into a rural shelter when his owner was not able to take proper care of him.
 

 He quickly made himself at home by greeting our cats (curious but not aggressive), 2 of our resident shepherds with greeting barks and play bows, then into the house to partake in one of his favorite things…eating.

He has basic obedience training ( sit, wait…working to perfect, recall, and good leash manners).  Is quick to learn and has a characteristic everyone wants to see in a pup…a desire to please his person.    He is vocal when meeting new people and other dogs ( excitement barks) and is cautious initiating play with new dogs.  He seeks attention from  people he meets, but needs to be reminded mouthiness is not an acceptable method of responding to human attention.

He is crate trained, rides very well in a car, and we have just started allowing him out and about in the house, so far so good.

He will be seeing  the vet  in the next week or so for his neutering appointment and booster shots, and will be adoptable once he has healed from neutering.

His ideal adopter would need to continue his training and socialization as well as give him adequate exercise so he can develop into the well rounded family dog we all seek.
