Summary: Mallie is a super energetic, playful, and very intelligent pup. He's approximately 43 lbs, been neutered, heart worm free and has completed his lyme disease medication. He's a big time cuddle monster and loves to cuddle when you lay down with him. He's a very playful pup but will jump and play bite when he's really excited; he may not exhibit these behaviors when you first adopt him, but may do so after he gets comfortable with you. Mallie hasn't shown any kind of violent behavior towards any animal or human, it's always excitement. He's very smart and can pick up tricks quickly, he learned how to sit and lay down within minutes.

Behavior: He's super energetic and loves going on walks, does pretty well on a leash but gets excited when he sees other dogs and people. Keep up with the "leave it" commands with positive reinforcement and he'll improve over time. Mallie does pass his threshold and gets overwhelmed when he is outside, so try to introduce him to dogs and people as much as possible. He does know how to sit, lay down and wait by the door; so it's best to keep up with these commands so he gets better at them. It's important to keep Mallie occupied, he's mostly calm throughout the day, but there are times where he gets bored and restless, puzzles, bully bones, and kong balls will be your best friend.

House training: Mallie is housebroken and won't go in the house, he's waited many hours and has never gone in the house (I've tested this), but it's important to keep a consistent schedule for him.

Crate training: Mallie isn't scared of crates, but does get anxious when you leave him alone, he's getting better at this, his barking is becoming less and less over longer periods of time (I've tested this as well). Keep up the training and he'll be fully crate trained.

Humans and other animals: Mallie does have a prey drive, but has been improving with not engaging. He has snapped at cats so it's best to keep them away for now, but loves to play with other dogs. Mallie loves other people and will jump, he is getting better with this as well.

Diet: Mallie eats well, he LOVES bully bones and other collagen bones that keep him occupied, and responds very well to treats during any kind of training.

Overall he's an amazing companion, he's full of love, cuddles and playful energy, he is technically still a puppy so he has a lot of energy on top of having Malinois blood. If you're an active, patient person who loves going on walks or runs, Mallie will be a good fit for you.
