Meet Tank everyone! He is an amazing 3 year old neutered male GSD.

Tank is such a sweet boy, he has great house manners, and is just a delight in the house. He allowed us to handle him all over just a few hours after meeting us. He spends most of the day sitting at our side, and following us from room to room. He loves to sit on his bed and look out the window when we are busy at work. Tank is very affectionate, and loves belly rubs, as soon as you start scratching his back, he will lay on the ground for you to rub his belly. Around the house, Tank is very mellow, and will ignore almost everything around the house, we keep some shoes in the living room, Tank would smell them and leave them be. We have a Roomba vacuum cleaner that is on a few days a week, and Tank perfectly ignores it, he does not even approach it when it is docked. Tank is also not triggered by most noises, and will sit or follow you around the house happily ignoring them. So far he had no issues with Vacuums (Roomba and the traditional ones), hair dryers, phone alarms, TV sounds, sirens outside the house, loud coffee machines, and the occasional fire alarms (we are not the best cooks). Tank is crate trained, but he would rather be around us instead of the crate, when we crate him for the night, he happily enters the crate, then voices some frustration after for a few minutes till he finds a toy and quiets down and goes to sleep. He is mostly quiet while in the house, and perfectly ignores his surroundings, sometime he does bark back if he hears a dog scuffle outside. Whenever we have people over, Tank is usually excited for a few minutes, then winds down, and goes about his regular business again. Since we had Tank , we had no food thieving incidents, but we do get a lot of looks from him and guilt tripping us for eating while he is not. Tank likes to greet us in the morning by jumping on us, and we have been correcting this behavior by ignoring his jumps, or asking him to do tricks if we feel he is hyped up, which has been working well so far.

Tank is easy to walk, and does not usually tug on the leash. He does tend to follow his nose if he smells something interesting, which usually leads to us finding other dog's poops. He mostly ignores other dogs while walking, and had a few interactions where he made a friend and played with another GSD for a few, while we were walking. We did have a few situations where Tank would bark back at dogs while on walks, but with a gentle tug on his leach, he would cool down and continue his walk.

Tank will make a great house dog and will shower you with much affection, he would do best in an environment where is he not left alone for long periods of time.
