A working shepherd is a happy shepherd, and boy does this dog LOVE to work!

Bear is a 5 year old black and tan German Shepherd. He was an owner surrender to a local shelter. Bear is a very happy boy who knows basic commands (sit, shake, down). He would thrive in an active home with someone willing to continue his training. Bear has great potential in a performance/working home. Have you ever considered doing sports with your dog? Bear is the one for you! He would excel in sports like lure coursing, herding trials, and agility with the proper training. He would also be a fantastic daily jogging or hiking buddy! Bear is good with other dogs and kids (5+), but no kitty cats please (they're too much fun to chase). He is house broken and crate trained.
