Bailey is a beautiful, active, friendly, very intelligent young girl with lots of energy and a very good nature and even temperament.  She's just a super-sweet dog who  continues to surprise us with her intelligence. She gets along well with most other dogs and would likely do well with a family with another dog as long as she is alpha. She will get a little protective/ reactive when on the leash but is friendly with all the dogs in the neighborhood. She gets along great with children of all ages and just the other day entertained a dozen kids in our yard from ages 6 mos to 12 years old. She has a moderate prey drive and would chase butterflies, squirrels, rabbits, and cats all day. She is very intelligent and will need an  owner willing to spend some time with training. She loves to please and learns quickly, responds well to treats and enjoys ball chasing. She likes to be outside but only with her family, otherwise she is content to lie at your feet. If left alone outside she may get bored and start digging. She has some mild separation anxiety so would not do well left alone or crated for long periods of time.  Bailey has been to the vet and is spayed and up to date on all her shots. She has been diagnosed with some hip dysplasia but currently has no symptoms and enjoys being active.  Bailey has been a joy to foster and needs to find a family willing to spend some time, love, and patience with her as she develops into a great dog.
