Hi! I’m Mavis 5064. I’m a 1 1/2-year old, neutered female, and I'm full of energy. I get along OK with my foster sisters, but I can get a little jealous of my foster mom’s time and attention, so I would do better as a single pup, I think. I’m more curious about that cat than anything, but tend to leave her alone. Whether you want to go for a run (I do well on a leash, but I don't require one all the time), or cuddle on the couch (personal space? I don’t know what that is), I’m the pup for you. If you have a ball, I will not leave you alone. Ever. Seriously. If you even think about looking at the ball when I drop it in your lap, I take that as "time to play" and I will never stop bringing the ball back to you!!! I'm very dedicated and devoted to ball time.

I know my basic commands and respond well to them. I am very lovable and really enjoy lots of attention. I am what most Shepherd owners consider a Velcro dog, once I have picked who I love the most! After that moment, do not think there will be a moment in your life you are left alone, ever again! I can get pretty vocal at the door, but settle down quickly when I realize everything is OK. 

I have a dominating personality even with submissive dogs and don't care for little dogs much. I tend to be a little pushy with the big dogs.  

I am very smart and eager to learn. With an experienced German Shepherd owner, I am sure to be a loyal dog for years to come.
